This Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider from 1967 is offered for sale by Bram’s Classic Cars and will be sold on consignment.
This Alfa Romeo Duetto doesn’t really need any further introduction. In various films, its charm is already displayed as for example: ‘The Graduate’ in 1967.
This particular Alfa 1750 Spider is an early original with the beautiful Round Tail (Rundheck), the successor of the Duetto 1600. The 1750 is a dearly beloved engine type and with the air intake across the engine it’s a true feast for the eye to behold. This car was brought to life in Italy in December 1967 and was delivered to Brussels in ’68. It has seen two owners in Belgium before it was imported to The Netherlands in 1983. Its history has been well-documented with several valuation reports and photo’s from its past.
It has driven a respectable 131,000 real kilometres. The engine block has been fully overhauled in the past. The oilpressure is fine and the enige runs great. Furthermore, the car’s technical condition is as it should be completely. Under the hood, the car has stayed original for the most part, which benefits the car’s reliability and originality. The car has been repainted this year so it shines again in its true original classic Alfa red. The original interior has been revisited in recent years and looks stunning as well.
This classic belongs both to the category ‘lovely to drive’ as well as an investment/collector (about 2800 European productions). After 9 years of driving with much pleasure, the car has now been set available for sale to a next lover.
Its price is €47,000.-
